Wok believed to have originated about 2000 years ago in the Han Dynasty in central & southern China, Vietnam , Mongolia over the years the wok has been used to fry, steam, roast and braise many delicacy across the Asian subcontinent. The same pot over time is now called a Kuo in Mandarin, and a Kuali in multiple Asian languages.
